Cookie Policy

This document aims to explain the procedures followed for collecting user information when visiting this website through cookies and/or other tracking technologies. It also provides guidance on how to refuse or delete cookies. Users can give their consent to the use of cookies by clicking the ACCEPT button, or continue browsing this website without accepting, with the option to check and/or manage preferences at a later time.

Data Controller
The data controller, as defined in Article 4, point 7) of the Regulation, is “the natural or legal person, public authority, service, or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.” The data controller of your personal data is Best Vasto srls, with registered office at Corso Garibaldi 135, 66054 Vasto (Ch), Tax ID and VAT number 02624430696, contactable at the following email address: info@bestvasto.com.

What is a Cookie?
Cookies are text strings made up of portions of code sent from a web server (e.g., a website) to an Internet browser and installed within it. Specifically, they are small text files that websites visited by users send to their devices, where they are stored and retransmitted to the same sites on subsequent visits. Almost all browsers allow automatic storage of cookies on the user’s device.

Cookies are used for various purposes, have different characteristics, and can be used by the Data Controller, co-controllers as identified below, and third parties that use or may use the following categories of cookies on the website, even in combination, according to the classification proposed in Opinion 04/2012 regarding the exemption from consent for the use of cookies issued by the Article 29 Working Party.

Session or Persistent Cookies
Cookies may expire at the end of a browser session (the period between opening and closing a browser window) or may be stored for a longer period. Session cookies allow websites to link user actions during a browser session and expire when the session ends. Persistent cookies are stored on a user’s device between browser sessions for varying periods and allow the website to remember user preferences or actions.

Technical or Profiling Cookies
Technical cookies are used by the website owner solely to transmit a communication over an electronic network, or to the extent strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user. Consent is not required for these cookies if used directly by the site operator. Profiling cookies create user profiles and are used to send advertising messages aligned with user preferences. Due to their intrusive nature, European and Italian law require that users be adequately informed about these cookies through a short (banner) and extended notice, and that they give explicit consent on their first visit. Consent can be general (via the short banner) or selective. Consent is recorded for subsequent visits, and users may revoke it in whole or in part at any time.

First-Party or Third-Party Cookies
A cookie is considered “first-party” if it comes from the website being visited, or “third-party” if it comes from a different domain. First-party cookies are set and managed by the site owner, who is responsible for informing users, obtaining consent, and allowing blocking. Third-party cookies are set by a domain other than the one visited. Third parties are responsible for informing users and handling consent, while the site owner must provide a link to the third party’s information.

Purposes of Personal Data Processing and Cookies Used
This section lists all cookies installed through the website. The Data Controller uses technical cookies, which include:

  • Navigation cookies: Save navigation preferences and optimize the user experience.

  • Analytics cookies, including third-party: Collect statistical information on site usage, processed in aggregated and anonymous form (IP anonymized).

  • Functionality cookies, including third-party: Enable specific website functions necessary to provide or improve services.

Technical cookies do not require prior user consent and are legally based on the legitimate interest of the Data Controller. Some third-party services may perform additional tracking independently. For detailed information, users should consult the respective privacy policies to learn more and withdraw consent if desired.

Checking and Managing Cookies with Browser Extensions or Tools
Users can check in real-time which cookies are used through free browser extensions. For example, Edit Cookie, a Google Chrome extension, allows users to verify, analyze, manage, enable, or disable cookies used on the website. It can be installed from the following link:
